QUB Anthropology Postgraduate Conference 2025
The Self Under Siege: Re-thinking Selfhood Across Disciplines, 7 May 2025, QUB

This international PG conference was organised by postgraduate Anthropology students from the School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics and brought together postgraduate researchers from a number of national and international institutions and disciplinary backgrounds to discuss 'selfhood' in the current context of global challenges and shifts.
Participants enjoyed a unique opportunity to engage in lively discussion and skills development through panel presentations, a round table, a keynote and a workshop on 'Narrating the Self in the Age of Generative AI'. The successful event showcased the strong PG research environment and activity in the School and fostered international and inter-disciplinary collaboration among early career researchers.
