Are you thinking about studying for a Masters but want to hear more?  Are you unsure if you want to continue your studies. 

If so, we have just the event for you!

The School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics (HAPP) are hosting a Master Information Session on Wednesday 3rd April in the Peter Froggatt Centre, PFC/02/026.

You may not have heard that the School of HAPP is one of the best in the world for our discipline subject areas, and is home to some unique centres of excellence. Our MA programmes are widely recognised as providing some of the best available training both for students who are interested in entering academia and for those whose goals lie outside the university. Over the last few years, we've been redesigning our postgraduate taught programmes to do even more to prepare you for life after graduation, including work placements, specialised careers training, and exceptional networking and international opportunities.

During the information session our academics will describe the exciting range of MA programmes, this will include outlining funding which will be available, the many possibilities for career and further study of which these programmes support.

After a short Powerpoint presentation for History and Anthropology disciplines (1.30pm), there will be a break for refreshments where you will have opportunity to talk to academic staff about the possibilities of postgraduate study.  For Politics, International Relations, Global Security and Border and VTS you will have the opportunity to meet our academic staff who will then present a short Powerpoint talk will be given.

2.00 – 2.45    History, Public History, Anthropology and Irish Studies

2.45 – 3.15    Refreshments

3.15 – 4.00    Politics, International Relations, Global Security and Borders, VTS
