GBSN
Queen’s Business School is a member of the Global Business School Network (GBSN). Founded in 2003 as a programme of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) within the World Bank, GBSN was established to address the lack of effective management education and capacity-building in emerging markets. Over time, it has evolved into an independent nonprofit, headquartered in Washington, D.C., with a mission to empower business schools worldwide to contribute to societal development.
The network now includes over 150 member institutions across 50+ countries, engaging a diverse range of educational partners, NGOs, governments, and foundations. GBSN facilitates collaboration among its members through programmes, projects, thought leadership initiatives, and events – all aimed at enhancing locally relevant entrepreneurship and leadership education. Faculty within QBS are proud to have served as judges for the innovative GBSN Social Logistics Challenge.
