Queen’s Business School and Chartered Accountants Ireland launch new Executive Leadership Programme
Queen's Business School and Chartered Accountants Ireland partner to develop the next generation of leaders in accountancy.
Queen’s Business School, in partnership with Chartered Accountants Ireland, has announced the launch of a new Executive Leadership Programme, an initiative designed to support accounting professionals in developing the skills, confidence and insight to lead in an increasingly complex world.
Bringing together expertise from Chartered Accountants Ireland and the Clinton Leadership Institute at QBS, the programme will provide participants with a powerful leadership toolkit – from self-awareness and resilience to communication, coaching, and leading high-performing teams.
Through a blend of in-person and online modules, the Executive Leadership Programme offers a unique opportunity to learn from internationally recognised faculty including leadership expert Dr Louise O’Meara, economist Richard Ramsey, AI specialist Dr Vincent Charles, communications expert Enda Young, and international team coach Peter Ivanov.
The programme will address some of the most pressing challenges faced by today’s leaders, from navigating global disruption and technological transformation, to building effective teams and leading through change.
Commenting on the launch, Professor M. N. Ravishankar, Dean and Head of School, Queen’s Business School said
“At Queen’s Business School, we recognise that leadership in today’s world demands more than experience—it requires vision, adaptability, and a deep understanding of the forces reshaping our society. This partnership with Chartered Accountants Ireland reflects our shared commitment to developing leaders who can navigate complexity with confidence and lead with purpose. The Executive Leadership Programme is designed to equip professionals with the insight, agility, and human-centred mindset needed to thrive in this new era of transformation.”
Pamela McCreedy, President of Chartered Accountants Ireland added:
“Trusted leadership is more important than ever. This programme has been designed to help leaders step forward with confidence, building the capabilities and networks they need to succeed in a volatile environment.”
The first intake for the programme will begin in February 2026, with sessions delivered in Belfast and Dublin, alongside a dedicated online learning platform.
