25 August, 2025

Since its origins in 2003 under the direction of Professor Ciaran Carson, acts of translation have been a part of the Seamus Heaney Centre’s programme.

Translation Day(s) - Call for Papers
Deadline – Mon 22 Sep 2025

Inviting abstracts for short (15min) papers on all aspects and forms of translation from early career researchers at the School of Arts, English and Languages at Queen’s University Belfast. We also want to hear from more established academics who are beginning to work with translation for the first time.

Translation Day(s) will take place in the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queen's University, Belfast on Fri 17 -Sat 18 Oct 2025.
