New RARDTAC meetings - come join us

Thanks to generous support from Ards and North Down Council, we are hosting two events with NIRDP: (1) 9th December 2019 in Newtownards - Ards Blair Mayne Wellbeing and Leisure Complex & (2) 16th January 2020 in Bangor Carnegie Library.

We're delighted to announce two dates have been organised with NIRDP for our RARDTAC project - Raising Awareness of Rare Diseases Throughout All Communities.

9th December 2019 in Newtownards - Ards Blair Mayne Wellbeing and Leisure Complex.

The first in Newtownards will focus on living with a rare disease, including speakers on accessible leisure activities, pain management, and an update of ongoing rare disease projects.  

Starting at 10 am with refreshments until 2 pm.  There will be cake! 

Attendees will be able to take home a pack of useful resources.

16th January 2020 in Bangor - Bangor Carnegie Library

The second will be held in Bangor with a focus on supporting carers of individuals living with a rare disease(s).  This links directly to our ongoing project helping to support carers with more details here.

Starting with refreshments at 12.15 pm, we're planning to close at 2.30 pm.  There will be cake! 

We're having a short workshop facilitated by Grace Henry and attendees will be able to take home a pack of useful resources.
