Developing the Communications Systems of the future

The Wireless Communications Research Theme, mirrored by the Centre for Wireless Innovation at ECIT, is the UK’s largest research, development and exploitation base in physical layer wireless, and one of the strongest in Europe. 

The theme has a 50-strong team of research academics, postdocs, PhD students and engineers who develop innovative underpinning technologies for wireless. Research within the theme is ranked in the Top 75 globally according to the ShanghaiRanking's Global Ranking of Academic Subjects in Telecommunication Engineering.
