Biography
Lesley received her Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electronics from Multimedia University Malaysia in 2009. She involved in Modelling, Identification and Control of a heating and cooling process(furnace) in her final year project. This project also includes VHDL modeling, simulation, synthesis and FPGA realization of furnace's temperature control. She gained experience in the area of Distributed Control System (DCS) and Motion Control System by working as a Service and Application Engineer for the product of Bosch Rexroth Servo Control System, Siemens (S7 series & SiMotion) Control System and SEW MoviPLC Control System in an Automation Company in Malaysia. In 2010 she join Queen's for a PhD with the Energy, Power and Intelligent Control (EPIC) research cluster.
