School of Pharmacy Hosts Third Annual Celebration Dinner
The School of Pharmacy recently held its third annual Celebration Dinner, bringing together staff, alumni, partners, and key stakeholders to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the School community.
This special evening was not only an opportunity to celebrate the School’s achievements over the past year, but also a chance to come together with colleagues, partners, and friends who play such an important role in our School community.
The evening provided an opportunity to reflect on a remarkable period of success for the School, including its position as 19th in the world for Pharmacy and Pharmacology in the 2025 QS World Rankings, and its ranking as number one in the UK for Pharmacy in the 2025 National Student Survey - a testament to the quality of teaching and student experience delivered across its programmes.
Guests heard how the School continues to shape the future of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences, graduating exceptional leaders, driving groundbreaking research, and delivering pioneering solutions to meet the evolving healthcare needs of society.
Speaking at the event, Professor Gavin Andrews, Head of the School of Pharmacy, said:
"This dinner is about celebrating what we achieve together, as a School and as a community. The milestones we’ve reached reflect the passion and dedication of everyone connected to our School. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished, and I’m excited about what lies ahead as we continue to push the boundaries of pharmacy education, research, and practice."
