New ways to treat disease
First in class drug in fight against Sepsis
Scientists at Queen’s University Belfast have developed a revolutionary new first-in-class treatment for sepsis and the Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS).
The novel anti-inflammatory drug has been developed by a team of scientists and clinicians at the School of Pharmacy and the Centre for Infection and Immunity at Queen’s, alongside colleagues at Trinity College Dublin (TCD).
