Hannah Crory Focussing on synthetic organic/medical chemistry projects including:

• Generation of dynamic covalent bonding units, dissociative under biologically relevant conditions.
• Synthesis of responsive hydrogel materials for medical device applications.
• Development of anti-adherent coatings, preventing bacterial contamination and promoting antibiotic stewardship.
• Design of supramolecular and fluorescent sensing materials.
Ryan Donnelly Open to PhD applications in the field of microneedles/microarray patches, minimally-invasive patient monitoring/diagnosis, transdermal drug delivery, including biomolecules, vaccine delivery, photodynamic therapy, nanomedicine delivery, HIV treatment and prevention, delivery of therapeutics for tropical diseases and rare conditions.
Fiona Furlong Open to PhD applications in the field of cancer research, cancer pharmacology, chemoresistance, cell signalling and molecular biology, biomarker development and drug discovery.
