The School of Psychology welcomes Dr Jenny Cross

27 January, 2022

Dr Jenny Cross - Teaching Fellow

Dr Jenny Cross

Jenny has recently joined the School of Psychology and is employed as a Clinical Teaching Fellow on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Her main responsibilities will involve placement planning, reviews, and assessments with current trainees; Jenny also hopes to become involved with the wider aspects of clinical training, including teaching and research activities.

Jenny is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and completed the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2015. She has held subsequent posts in paediatric autism and paediatric psychology services, and her most recent post was as a Specialist Clinical Psychologist across Child & Adolescent Mental Health and Eating Disorders teams. Particular interests are in working therapeutically with physical health and neurodevelopmental conditions in children and young people, and in working with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion-Focussed approaches where indicated.
