Cancellation of Event or Conference
Staff can claim back flights, accommodation and conference fee costs, if refunds are not payable by Selective Travel or the Event Organiser. To claim from Queen’s Insurance staff must provide evidence of the event being cancelled to include:
- Written confirmation from the event organiser of event cancellation;
- Original booking documentation of the conference – to include flights and accommodation receipts;
- Written confirmation from Selective Travel and the event organiser that no refund is payable;
- Details of any refund due from the airline in respect of taxes etc (advise from UMAL).
A Cancellation/Curtailment form (with all relevant receipts and backup) should be submitted directly to UMAL (email@example.com) – quoting Certificate No. UMAL 170. Please copy claim to firstname.lastname@example.org
