Dr Angela Trentacoste

School of Natural and Built Environment

Angela’s research focuses on human–animal interaction in the Mediterranean and beyond using zooarchaeology and stable isotope analysis. She is particularly interested in animal economies, transhumance, specialisation and crop–animal integrations, and how these themes articulate with socio-economic change. Her work includes materials analysis, large-scale synthesis, and C, N, O, and Sr isotope analysis.
