QUILL @ ILMAT VI

First conference after COVID for QUILL: QUILL researchers attending the 6th Ionic Liquid-based Materials (ILMAT-VI) in Saint Nabor, France.

QUILL researchers have just returned from the 6th International Conference on Ionic Liquid-based Materials (ILMAT-VI) in Saint Nabor (Domaine Saint Jacques, thirty minutes from Strasbourg), France - the European conference was devoted to saline materials including ionic liquids and their chemical, physicochemical, physical and biological properties.

One QUILL post-doctoral research assistant: Emily Byrne, and two QUILL PhD students: Anne McGrogan (Swadzba-Kwasny group) and Sam McCalmont (Moura group) presented their work in front of the audiance.

On the top of which, three QUILL PhD students: Dominic Burns, Sanskrita Madhukailya (Holbrey group) and Mark Young (Moura group) had the chance to showcase their excelent work at a poster session.

They were then able to relax for a few more days and visit the iconic Christkindelsmärik, the Christmas market in Strasbourg.
