Spring QUILL Meeting

4 April, 2023

QUILL hosted its spring IAB meeting

The QUILL research center was delighted to host its in-person bi-annual IAB meeting Spring 2023 edition.

 

Attendance this time had 17 student and post-doc presenting their work to our industrial sponsor and a poster session with 13 poster, all showing excellent work to our audiance and industrial sponsors Dr Peter Klusener from Shell, Dr Hye Kyung Timken and Dr Huping Luo from Chevron, Mr Fadhli Wong and Dr Geetha Srinivasan from Petronas, and Dr Fergal Coleman from Ionic Technologies. 

We were also delighted to have the visit of Professor Doug MacFarlane, from Monash University, who has delivered an amazing lecture on Progress on Electrochemical N2 Reduction to Ammonia.

As tradition, award were given to the best posters and to the best presentations. This time, only winners with Anne McGrogan and Mark Young for their excellent work showcased on their posters and Josh Bailey and Liam O'Connor for their excelent presentations. Congratulations to the 4 of you.

Furthermore, to encourage student to participate, an award was givent to the best participation. this year, again, it was a joint winning with Dominic Burns and Sam McCalmont. Congratulation Sam and Dominic
