Our researchers are supported to undertake regular media activity, from local BBC Sky at Night to outlets including NVTV and Citizens in Science.
The School is involved in some major national and international consultancy roles taken on by several staff. Professor Adele Marshall has been providing Covid-19 modelling guidance to the Chief Scientific Advisor of the Department of Health (NI) and the nationwide body The Joint Biosecurity Centre.
These consultancy roles have led to stronger connections to industry and the public sector. This encouragement and support has led to nine Knowledge Transfer Partnerships during the period, connecting research to industry.
Our researchers are involved in a number of strategic partnerships and collaborations within the University and industry.
