The Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Photonic Integration and Advanced Data Storage (PIADS) is a partnership between Queen’s University Belfast, the University of Glasgow and the Irish Photonic Integration Centre, which aims to tackle some of the challenges created by the increasing quantities of data generated by today's society.

The Leverhulme Interdisciplinary Network Algorithmic Solutions (LINAS) Doctoral Training Programme (DTP) seeks to develop a cohort of Doctoral Scholars who can address the implications of massive-scale data processing, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) for both the actual operation of algorithmically driven public decision-making in wider society, and within science and engineering.
