In 1995, we purchased a Viennese 5-octave grand piano by Poletti & Tuinman after a model by Anton Walter (1795).  This is the type of piano that Haydn and Mozart played.

If you are studying the classical repertories, you are encouraged to book the Harty Room and to try out on this instrument.  Find out the particular sonorities and timbre that this instrument has.  I am sure you will gain an interesting insight.
