It features both academic and creative work exploring themes of identity, culture, aesthetics, and representation.

The journal was co-founded by three PhD candidates at Queen’s University Belfast: Siyang Gu (History Studies), Tianpeng Yao (Film Studies), and Xiaoxiang Ma (Film Studies). As founding editors, we aim to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and spotlight emerging voices across the arts and humanities. We are also especially grateful to our fellow editors and contributors - in particular Lauren McShane (French Studies) -for their dedication and enthusiasm throughout this process.
