Documentary film, 'It Stays With You; Use of Force by UN Peacekeepers in Haiti'

The premiere of the documentary film, 'It Stays With You; Use of Force by UN Peacekeepers in Haiti', took place at the SOROS funded Fokal Centre in Port-au-Prince, June 2nd. A full house attended and the screening was followed by a discussion on the record of the UN, how communities can engage with the legacy of violence, and researchers' responsibilities and limitations in contributing to community issues. The film was funded by the AHRC, with PI Siobhán Wills from Ulster University and CI Cahal McLaughlin from QUB present for the premiere.
