We were delighted to host a special panel celebrating women shaping the arts and culture sector as part of International Women’s Day.

Held in the Wolfson Lecture Theatre, the discussion brought together an inspiring group of speakers: Sophie Hayles (Chief Executive, The Crescent Arts Centre & Belfast Book Festival), Ciara Hickey (Culture Development Officer, Belfast City Council), and Patricia Hamilton (Director, Aspects Irish Literature Festival).

Moderated by Dr Zeynep Bulut (Senior Lecturer, SARC – Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Sound and Music), the conversation explored how women leaders are empowering communities, promoting diversity, and advancing gender equality across the arts and culture sector.
