OUTburst

Cured! Normal and Normaller
Queer at Queen’s for OUTburst Queer Arts Festival, Belfast
12th – 20th November 2010

This year’s Queer at Queen’s takes as its focus the mainstream desire to ‘normalise’ all who sit outside, or actively resist, popular notions of what is ‘normal’.

Looking at sexuality, disability, health and ill health, this performance and discussion-based event poses questions about ‘compulsory’ ‘normality’ and challenges our own ideas about what is ‘normal’.

For theatre bookings please go to www.outburstarts.com
Student tickets are £5 and can only be bought at that price on the door.
All lectures, discussions and seminars are free and open to all – no registration or booking required.

The Robert McRuer lecture will take place in the Brian Friel Theatre, 20 University Square.
