Concert: Pierrette: International Women's Day Concert by Hard Rain SoloistEnsemble

In this concert we'll be joined by members of the Hashtag Ensemble from Poland in a collaboration funded by the British Council 2025 UK/Poland partnership.

This programme, Pierrette, features The Wind Cries over the State of her House by Northern Irish composer Amelia Clarkson and premieres works by two other local composers Anita Mawhinney and Deirdre Gribbin. We will also present works by Polish composers Agnieszka Stulgińska, Żaneta Rydzewska and Nina Fukuoka.

We hope you can join us on 8th March 2025 at 7:30pm in the Harty Room, Queen's University Belfast.

This concert will also be preceded by a special pre-concert performance at 6pm of Bianca Gannon's Uisce Beatha - It's six o'clock somewhere, performed by the composer herself.
