Queen’s will be hosting a ‘Pop-Up World of Languages’, the first pop-up museum of languages in the UK or Ireland.
Entry is free and it will have lots of interactive activities for children teenagers and adults.
It will be running in the Accidental Theatre, 12-13 Shaftesbury Square, on Saturday 2 November (10 am – 5.30 pm) and Sunday 3 November (10 am – 5 pm).
The activities have been designed by researchers on a major AHRC project: ‘Multilingualism. Empowering Individuals, Transforming Societies’ (www.meits.org), involving four universities: the University of Cambridge, Queen’s University Belfast and the Universities of Edinburgh and Nottingham.
