The Vagina In The Room is a multidisciplinary performance piece by Juanita Rea in which she tells a story of her life as a survivor of childhood sexual trauma and domestic violence and as a lover of trees, art and life. Juanita merges spoken word with songs and monologue alongside soundscapes, visual art and videos to take you with her on her journey that traverses self-loathing with self-acceptance and self-love.

The piece offers insight into the healing journey that is founded on a lifetime of creative and contemplative practice and supported by therapy along the way.

Online tickets to the live-streamed performance are available at www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/the-vagina-in-the-room-online-tickets

The performance piece runs alongside a 3 week installation at SARC, Restoration a multidisciplinary, meditative installation offering insight into the healing journey of a survivor of childhood sexual trauma and domestic abuse while inviting visitors to interact with a range of prompts for creative and contemplative practice. For further information and to book tickets for the installation visit www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/restoration-a-meditative-multidisciplinary-installation
