The School of Psychology welcomes Amy Jones

Amy Jones
Amy Jones, School of Psychology

Amy graduated from QUB with a BSc in Psychology in 2016, and MSc in Political Psychology in 2017. She is currently in the final stages of completing her PhD thesis at QUB, which investigated the psychological nature of men’s resistance towards increasing gender diversity in masculine domains. Amy’s research interests reside in the field of social psychology, and specifically include attitudes towards diversity & social change, gender biases/stereotypes, intergroup threat, and social identity.

Amy is joining the EPSRC “Inclusion Really Does Matter” project team, in which she will work closely with other team members to evaluate the effectiveness of a set of resources in improving STEM academics’ attitudes towards Gender Equality Initiatives within their domain.
