The School of Psychology welcomes Dr Theresa McShane

Dr Theresa McShane - Research Fellow

Dr Theresa McShane, School of Psychology

Theresa's research is varied and focuses on vulnerable and hard to reach populations using innovative research methods including peer research with young people and co-design.  She has applied these methods in a diverse range of studies; with care leavers with mental health needs and disabilities; fathers parenting; socially vulnerable mothers; cancer caregivers; sexual health; and people who self-injure.  Theresa's current project involves understanding psychosocial determinants of psychological health and wellbeing.
