The School of Psychology welcomes Dr Ruth Lee

18 January, 2021

Dr Ruth Lee - Lecturer (Education)

Ruth Lee Welcome
Dr Ruth Lee - School of Psychology

We are delighted to welcome Dr Ruth Lee back to the School of Psychology.

Ruth received her PhD from the University of Toronto in 2018, having previously completed an MEd in Psychology of Education at the University of Manchester in 2008.  She has worked in the School of Psychology at Queen's as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 2018-19, and at the University of York as a Postdoctoral Associate from 2019-20.  Ruth now returns as a Lecturer (Education) beginning January 2021.

Ruth is interested in how conceptual, linguistic, and cognitive factors interact to shape the information that people take from language, including the way it is processed in real time as sentences unfold, and how this develops between childhood and adulthood.  She is also interested in children's and adults' temporal cognition, and is a member of both the Cognitive Science Society and the Psychonomic Society.
