Professor Diane Mathis receives the 2019 Barcroft Medal

It was with great pleasure that the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences awarded the Barcroft Medal for 2019 to Professor Diane Mathis of Harvard Medical School. Professor Mathis was awarded her medal by Professor Pascal McKeown, Dean, School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences, at Queen's University Belfast on 13 November 2019, in recognition of her achievements in the fields of Microbiology and Immunology. Following the award of the medal she gave a talk on "T cell control of non immunological processes”.
