We are thrilled to welcome Patti-Ali Gouliev from Concern Worldwide to the School of Biological Sciences, to host a workshop as part of their Project Us campaign.
- Date(s)
- October 14, 2025
- Location
- Boardroom, School of Biological Sciences
- Time
- 22:00 - 12:00
This workshop uses the UN Sustainable Development Goals as a lens for understanding global development challenges. Through case studies from Concern Worldwide’s country programmes, participants will explore how issues such as poverty, gender, health, education, and climate are deeply interconnected. By examining the intersectional impact of these challenges, participants will gain insight into how global inequalities, especially gender inequality, shape lived experiences and why holistic, cross-cutting approaches are vital for meaningful change. Staff and students are very welcome to attend the workshop.
