For over 50 years Queen's University Belfast Sub-Aqua Club (QUBSAC) has been committed to the pursuit of Sports Diving. The club, which consists of a wide variety of divers, prides itself on a high standard of training and an excellent safety record.

The School of Biological Sciences regulalrly hosts events where you can get to know the community outside of your course and take a break from studying. Activities range from movie nights to quizzes. Recently we screened 'Hidden Figues' with an introduction by Dr Edel Hyland on The 'Forgotten' Women of Science.

Queen's has a close partnership with NI Science Festival which offers a stimulating and wide range of events focusing on the wonders of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Regular events within the School include Soapbox Science, The Annual Jean Orr Lecture and exciting talks and seminars presented by guest speakers.
