Why did you choose Queen’s for your PhD?
When I was thinking about my education abroad Northern Ireland was my first priority. My sister was here in Belfast and Queen's was giving me a course in which I was interested. I did my masters here and I really enjoyed my experience. I was quite nervous like a normal international student but Belfast is welcoming and it's all grand!
Queen's gives us a high standard of education and teaching and also highly established laboratories, very good libraries and also we have a beautiful SU for chilling and relaxing. The graduate school is also great, especially for international students, they provide lots of training to overcome the challenges in the case of language. They give trainings for reading, writing and personality development.
Are you involved with any extra curricular activities?
I was a course representative during my masters and I also am a course representative for my PhD. Also, I have signed up as a STEM Ambassador through which I can share my science to school level kids.
Would you recommend Queen's University Belfast?
I'm really enjoying my life here at Queens. I'd recommend Queens to International students for their Master's and for their PHD's.
