Current research project
Knowledge graph embedding and domain adaptation learning
Knowledge graphs play a vital role in various applications such as question answering, recommendation systems, and smart searches. There are several popular research topics in the KG, which cover knowledge graph embedding (KGE), knowledge acquisition, temporal knowledge graph, and knowledge-aware application. This PhD study will be focused on the issue of KGE. The aim of KGE is to embed both entities and their relations within facts into a continuous low-dimensional vector space.
Miao received an M.S. degree from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Fujian Normal University, Fujian, China, in 2019. He is currently pursuing his DPhil degree in the School of Maths and Physics at Queen's University Belfast, United Kingdom. His current research interests are in the areas of Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
