Next Generation Laser Development

I am working with Compound Semiconductor Technologies Global in Glasgow to study and characterise their current telecommunications distributed feedback lasers in the hope of understanding how they can be optimally designed for their intended purpose.

Biography

I came to the CDT after completing a BSc in Physics in University College Dublin.

Research interests

My interests are in optics and photonics mainly and my best skills are in experimental lab work, though simulations are another large part of my project and I feel like I have risen to the challenge.
