This virtual event opened with video messages from Dr Tedros Adhanom, WHO Director General, and Elizabeth Iro, Chief Nursing Director, WHO.

Dr Clare McVeigh, Lecturer (Education) concluded this virtual event with a short Mindfulness session for attendees.

Dr Mark Linden and Dr Maria Healy, Co-SWAN Champions for the School of Nursing and Midwifery (QUB) recently collaborated with Maurice Devine, Staff Tutor (The Open University), Dr Deborah Goode, Lecturer in Nursing and Dr Neal Cook, Associate Head of School of Nursing (Ulster University) to promote nursing and equality within the nursing profession, in line with the Athena SWAN Equality Charter. A promotional video of their collaboration on how nursing is a 'career for all' was showcased at this IND event.
