Projects

The School has been in the forefront of developing palliative care research in Ireland (www.aiihpc.ie). The aim of this research programme is to illuminate the experiences of cancer survivors and patients requiring palliative care, their informal carers and their professional carer’s, with a view to improving the experience of both survivorship and palliation. These insights will be used to provide a sound evidence base for care and to develop a research continuum from bench to bedside through the development of co-ordinated research projects.
