Dr Min Zhao’s research is focused on the development of advanced oral solid drug delivery systems using novel technologies, including hot melt extrusion, spray drying, and recently electro-spinning nanofabrication, microwaving in-situ amorphization technology, and 3D printing with relevant solid state characterization with particular interests in thermal analysis, structural and imaging techniques and quality control, aiming to address formulation challenges associated with poorly water soluble drugs, amorphous pharmaceuticals and personalized medicines.
