Our Graduates go on to achieve great things, equipped with the confidence and skills to explore the various job markets related to the life sciences and beyond.

We have a range of ways you can stay engaged with the School of Biological Sciences including our Alumni LinkedIn Group where we will post school, Institute and University opportunities, events, research, updates and news! We also open to contributions which you feel will be of interest to current students and provide potential career development opportunities.
We also welcome Alumni Profiles and Videos, where you can share your career journey. We feature profiles in many ways – through our school website, promotional materials, social media and presentations to inspire current students to make the most of their Queen’s experience and highlight the various career paths available in the life sciences and beyond.
There is also the opportunity to Participate in Careers Initiatives within the school, including our employers forum and stakeholder consultations which inform how we can develop our courses and learning opportunities to ensure our students are equipped with the skills, knowledge and competencies needed for industry. We also offer the opportunity to engage directly with students via talks, site visits, networking events, careers fairs, mentoring and our monthly newsletter.
