CPP members publish perspective in Nature journal

1 September, 2021

Dr C. Palmer and Dr M.V. Streeter of CPP have recently co-authored a Perspective paper in the prestigious Nature journal. The paper addresses the potential use of machine learning and data-driven methods in analysing and controlling the highly non-linear processes arising in high- energy density plasmas. The conclusions and recommendations emerging from this review provide an important contribution related to the use of AI in data intensive research, an emerging theme in the research of the School, and the current topic of a Virtual Interdisciplinary Centre.
