School of Nursing and Midwifery Honoured with 'Freedom of Belfast' Certificate

The School of Nursing and Midwifery has proudly received the prestigious 'Freedom of Belfast' certificate, awarded to healthcare workers in recognition of their exceptional service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The certificate was formally presented to the School by Professor Martin Bradley CBE, HM Deputy Lord Lieutenant for Belfast. A highly respected figure in Northern Ireland’s healthcare sector, Professor Bradley has played a pivotal role in shaping health services over several decades.
The certificate will be on permanent display at the School of Nursing and Midwifery’s reception area in the Medical Biology Centre, serving as a lasting tribute to the dedication and resilience of healthcare professionals during one of the most challenging periods in recent history.
