Description of Project: Aim; Methods

This study aims to model, develop and feasibility test a novel intervention for carers of patients with advanced heart failure. An all-Ireland workshop with healthcare professionals will clarify the component of the evidence based intervention. A sample (n=30) of carers/family members of patients with heart failure will be invited to test the intervention. Outcome measure include acceptability of the intervention to study participants, willingness of clinicians to recruit participants, willingness of caregivers to participate, completion rates. |
