School Work Experience Programme

15 September, 2016

The School of Pharmacy, Queen¹s University Belfast, welcome applications from prospective students to enrol on a three-day work experience programme within the School.

The School of Pharmacy offers three degree pathways, the Pharmacy MPharm degree, a BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a BSc in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology.

The Pharmacy MPharm degree is a four-year programme, with the primary focus of generating registered Pharmacists.

The BSc's in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology are three-year programmes designed for those whose career aspirations are aligned with the pharmaceutical industry, rather than clinical practice.

As such, the work experience programme will differ slightly between the degrees. When completing the application, potential candidates should clearly indicate their preferred degree pathway along with their first and second preference of the available work experience dates.

We look forward to welcoming interested students to the School.

The sessions will run as follows:

23-25 January 2017

6-8 February 2017

13-15 February 2017

6-8 March 2017

Please note that we can only accept a maximum of 4 students per session and demand is expected to be high.  Work Experience is open to YEAR 13 students only.

For a work experience application form please click here.  Completed applications should be submitted by Monday 14th November 2016.
