Dr Caoduro's research focuses on mediated memories of terrorism and political violence (fiction and documentary), nostalgia, retro and vintage cultures in screen media, and costume and fashion in films and TV. She published on contemporary European cinema (especially German and Italian), social media such as Instagram and Tinder as well as female identities in media. She is the co-editor of Mediated Terrorism in the 21st Century (Palgrave, 2021) and Documenting Fashion (EUP, 2023).
