I am currently working as a Research Fellow within the School of Arts, English and Languages (QUB), where I investigate the role of arts-based methodology within community research. I am also working as a facilitator and researcher within the analysis team for the Truth Recovery Independent Panel, to investigate the Mother and Baby Institutions, Magdalene Laundries, and Workhouses in Northern Ireland. Research focus is centred on research methods and trauma informed research in general.

Research Interests

Open to PhD applications in the fields of:

  • Sociology, with special attention to emotional labour and post-conflict experiences and narratives.
  • And/or research methods with a particular focus one qualitative method/trauma informed research practice.
