Welcome to this guide on evaluating tenders

Participating in the process to appoint suppliers gives you the opportunity to provide your expert opinion to help us get the right supplier for our needs.

The purpose of this guide is to ensure that individuals appointed to an Evaluation Panel (the Panel) are advised of their role and requirements to be followed during a procurement process. This training module should take 30 minutes to complete, you will need working speakers or headphones and it is best viewed in a Google Chrome browser.

Why training is needed

Suppliers spend a lot of time, effort and money completing tender documentation for works, supplies and services needed by our University.

Suppliers want to win contracts and this means we must ensure we have competent evaluators to undertake the assessment of these tenders in a fair and consistent manner to ensure the correct outcome. The tender evaluation processes must embody our core value of Integrity.
