Our successful Speed Networking Event connected Year 1 Environmental Management Students with Industry Leaders.
The recent speed networking session proved to be a resounding success, offering Year 1 Environmental Management students a unique opportunity to engage with key environmental organisations. Opportunities like this are invaluable for exposing students to the real-world challenges and possibilities within their field, while also helping them build meaningful professional networks early in their academic journey.
The engagement session featured a ‘speed networking’ style activity, where students actively sought information about the organisations’ environmental activities, current and future trends, key skills in demand, and the personal experiences of the speakers. This dynamic setup allowed students to gain first hand insights and practical knowledge directly from professionals on similar career paths.
