Having worked in health care for 40 years in Ireland and the United Kingdom, and having taught and carried out research in a number of regions across the work, I am particularly interested in the often neglected subjects of spirituality, meaning making and existential questioning in health and social care. Having worked in senior leadership roles, and with my my clinical and research experience I am also interested in the psychosocial elements of health care and in particular how this is addressed in the cancer and palliative care setting.
