Dr Steph Craig

Dr Steph Craig

School of Nursing and Midwifery

Dr Steph Craig is a nurse academic and researcher with a specialist focus on the care of older people and interdisciplinary healthcare education. Her research is grounded in long-term conditions and complex care needs, with particular expertise in dementia, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, heart failure, delirium, and diabetes care. She is widely published in these areas and is particularly committed to collaborative research with under-served and underrepresented populations through accelerated co-design methodologies.

 

Dr Craig has a strong interest in digital education, including the design, development, and evaluation of educational resources and serious games for healthcare professionals. Methodologically, she is highly experienced in realist evaluation and realist synthesis, as well as mixed methods research, grounded theory, and ethnography. She is open to supervising students across these domains.
