Development of bispecific antibodies to promote proapoptotic immunotherapy in pancreatic cancer
PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The planned training and co-ordinated placement visits of the student at the industrial partner will providing a dynamic training environment for them to further their biotechnology career. Ultimately, this project could lead to the development of a new therapeutic strategy for the treatment of pancreatic cancer, an area of unmet clinical need and dismal outlook for patients. However, in the future this approach may also have application in other tumour types that are refractive to current chemo- and immunotherapies.
Applications to this prestigious 4 year studentship are welcomed for students with backgrounds in biochemistry or related disciplines. Experience in molecular biology or antibody generation are particularly welcomed.
